Fear not, morning hospitality will be waitin' for you! Coffee, tea, cocoa, bagels, donuts, oatmeal...

Seminars, CGC and other Funstuff

At this writing in May 2010, we're working on our offerings for the coming year. Please contact Trial Chair Teri with any suggestions or ideas you have.

CGC:  We do plan to offer CGC two days this coming year, evaluators TBD. We will need some volunteer help as well! All dogs, both purebred and mixed breed may participate. Dogs should wear well-fitting buckle or slip collars (no pinches, head halters or harnesses permitted), and handlers should bring a leash, and a dog brush or comb. The CGC area is across from the obed./rally rings.
Cost is $20, and includes your patch (assuming you pass!). Please see the payment options above.
You can also check out the AKC website: http://www.akc.org/events/cgc/index.cfm for more info.

Other Fun Stuff

Freestyle Demos:  We have such fun with this every year! Patty Wiedeman and her crew will be back to entertain us and maybe encourage ya'll to participate. Time TBD...probably Sat/Sun afternoon.

Photo Spot:  We'll have a photo spot set up this year, complete with hay bales and western stuff! Plan to use one of the professional photogs on site for portraits, or shoot your own candids.

Stripe Kitty Catch, Snipe Hunts:   These two things will likely occur after hours and when you're least expecting it. Remember we are in a wildlife zone, folks!

Ya’ll know there are trials going on nearly every weekend here in Southern Calif. We wanted to find a way to make ours fun and memorable! So we’re takin’ a walk on the Western side. No, you don’t have to talk funny or wear a bandana to run yer dog. But if you’re so inclined, here are some websites to help you cowboy up!
