Welcome Back To Pawso Robles!

Thank you everyone for a great trial in 2010!
What can we say but WOW? Participation in our agility, obedience and rally trials this past March exceeded all our hopes, and we appreciate each one of you choosing to spend you time and moola with us. Because of your generosity, our club is once again on a firm financial footing, and able to support the causes and charities we believe in. Many of you shared your talents as well! It was great to see people mentoring each other in all the rings, and teams learning tracking, putting their dogs through CGC and dancing up a storm. Vendors, you were terrific...such an array of different products and services offered. Watching everyone deal with the weather was perhaps the most memorable part of this year's trials...yes, it rained, yes it got muddy, yes we all worried a little. But how cool we got through it, folks pulling together to help just about everywhere you looked. No runs were cancelled, no RVs stranded, and a lucky fella even won $20 for the best faceplant in the mud! I don't think I'll ever forget 60 people cramming together under 3 EZups for Sat. dinner. We all got wet anyway, but it made the food taste even better! Gives new meaning to the overworked term "community". Thanks for being part of Pawso Robles 2010, and we look forward to your return in 2011.

Speaking of next spring, we're planning the next roundup for March 4th-5th-6th-7th, 2011!
We're returning for the fourth year to our beautiful trial site at Oak Canyon Park, and the ranch layout remains pretty much the same. RVers and other campers will again be in the Little Oaks field, obedience and rally will set up in our east field, and agility in the west field.
We've got great judges lined up, some familiar, some brand new! Git ready to enjoy great grub cooked onsite, terrific vendors, and a wonderful Deb Harpur raffle. It's early yet, so we're still planning the rest of our FunStuff. But you can count on 2 days of CGC, an interesting seminar or two, and other fun demos and contests. I've heard a rumor the rubber ducky race may be coming back...Check the FunStuff! page of the website for updates. We appreciate your help publicizin'... as soon as they're ready, you'll be able to download our flyer, agility premium and obed./rally premium below.

Agility Judges and Courses
Std., JWW and FAST will be offered all 4 days. We'll have 2 rings, and 2 sets of contacts , so FAST will begin after the completion of JWW each day. Fri./Sat./Sun. all levels will be offered; Mon. will be Ex. Only. Trial entry fees are $22 first entry, $15 second entry and $15 third entry for each dog, each day. We know that's a lot a' bucks, and we appreciate you spendin' it with us! You can firm up your commitment at Arena Director Lynda's website: www.lyndatjarksagility.com
Obedience/Rally Judges and Courses
Last year was our first try at all-breed obed./rally trials, and your response was terrific. We're expanding our run limits and hours this year, so we can accommodate more trialers. UDX will be offered. We know some of you'll be tryin' to do everything, so we'll work out conflicts as best we can. Click the link above for entry info and more details (link will be live soon).
Food, Fellowship and Fancy Lodgin'
One of the best things about our trial is the chance to take a meal with family and friends. We'll be cookin' onsite again this year, and we invite you to join us for some good grub and gossip! Morning hospitality will be provided by our friendly folks, and lunches Fri./Sat./Sun/, and Fri./Sat. dinners can be pre-ordered. Get the skinny on the Fun Stuff! page. If any of you need hotel info, click our Fancy Lodgin' link for recommendations. You can also check in with Trial Chair Teri for possible lodging deals.
RV and Exhibitor Parking
Pre-registered RVers and Tent Campers will park around back in our Little Oaks field, in assigned spaces. Reserve early, as we nearly sold out last year! Water is available, but no hookups, sorry. Please see our Park Yer Rig page for details and a reservation form. Obed./rally exhibitors, vendors, committee members and judges will also park as directed in this field. Agility exhibitors and others will park in our main gravel lot. A limited number (25) of Ranchhand Parking Passes will be available for sale to exhibitors, allowing early set-up, and guaranteed, convenient parking in a set-aside area each day. Please see the Park Yer Rig page for details. We sold out on these last year, so order early!
Vendors and Raffles!
We're linin' up a passel of the best vendors ever, and will have links for them available on our FunStuff! page. If you're interested in being a vendor, please contact our Vendor Coor. Marsha Yeager. Raffle Queen Deborah Harpur is already gathering lovely items large and small...if you have something you'd like to donate, please contact her directly. Whoohoo! What's a great trial without the chance to drop some cash and load up on stuff you need?
Where did we get the name Pawso Robles? Well, pardner, the real name of our trial site is Oak Canyon Park…la de da de da. We wanted somethin’ more colorful to describe this magical place, full of good folk and great dogs havin’ fun. Since “oaks” is “robles” in Spanish, Pawso Robles seemed to fit the bill!
